I’ve believed in God since I was little. My parents always took me to church but I wouldn’t pay attention. Most of the time they would take me by force. When I was in middle school during my 8th grade year I went to WyldLife. They played games and talked about Jesus. I didn’t feel comfortable so I would leave.

When I entered high school I went to Younglife, a high school version of Wyldlife. I started paying attention to the word. When we went to a weekend Younglife camp I gave my life to Christ. Ever since then Urban Life has helped me grow in my faith. I first heard about Urban Life when I was a freshman and was part of IOB (small group bible studies). I didn’t really get involved until the summer going into my junior year. I helped with Vacation Bible School and I went to Big Bear Urban Life camp. I also started to help with Little Life, bible studies for kids, on Tuesday afternoons. Being involved in Urban Life has helped me build leadership skills and has helped me grow in my faith. Urban Life has helped me grow in my faith by taking me to Big Urban and by small group on Wednesday nights.
